As you are aware it's the 8 year Anniversary of 9/11 today.
I would just like to take this time to send my heart felt thoughts to those who lost their loved ones on this day and to their loved ones who miss them so dearly.

Annabelle that is truly a wonderful thought! Bless those who lost their life and those who do miss their Mummys, Daddys, Brothers , Sisters and Children who suffered on that day. I remember the moment the news broke on the radio and TV and i will never forget it!

It's like they say it's a day that you know you would never forget and near forget where you were and what you was doing at the time.

I remember the tears shed here in the states and what warmed my heart was when the media shown people in the Uk, and other countries stunned and feeling our sadness along with us here. When people are good it does not matter where you live in the world it hurts all of us to see a tragic event like this. And as far as i and many are concerned the free world is a community within itself we all care about each other and lets stick together. Today we are having a special small ceremony at my workplace to remember our fallen friends. Yes "OUR" friends not just Americans. Thank you my friends and Annabelle for posting this thread. :)

A laudable sentiment to make this posting Annabelle and I share everyone's thoughts and remembrances.

What also gives me sad chills is the thought that flight 93 "the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania" on that day passed over my home town Pittsburgh en route to its fatefull fall about 1 1/2 hours drive east of my home. I thought i would share that story. I will close now and just say what is said about this fateful day................Never Forget!
