bring on the ashes.

can't wait for it to start may the best team win but despite being on home soil i think the aussies will do a number on england time will tell bowl that first ball tonight.

thanks to brad haddin dropping joe root second ball who made 134 england are looking ok at 7/343 at stumps they were 3/43 at the time.

twsjct 09-07-15 04:51

Just the first day, Pal...and 343 is not a huge total. Aussies can come very hard at England...

halfslip56 09-07-15 21:40

stumps day 2 and england look just in front although the aussies bat right down 5/264 trailing england's 430 isn't looking great it's up to watson and the rest tomorrow.

halfslip56 10-07-15 21:47

stumps day 3 and england are in a strong position to go one up in the series
after bowling out the aussies for 308 england made 289 in the second innings
with two days left australia need 412 to win good luck with that on a wearing pitch.

halfslip56 11-07-15 22:01

a big win to england all credit to them australia all out for 242
next stop lords.

halfslip56 16-07-15 21:57

lords test day one what a toss to win michael clarke had no hesitation in batting
and why not australia 1/337 the only failure was warner for 38 rogers 158 and smith 129 not out the trouble is going to be getting 20 wickets on this belter of a batting track.

halfslip56 19-07-15 21:19

i missed a few daily updates but the end result is on day 4 england were bowled out by 103 chasing 509 to win a master class by the aussies who now look like they are playing the way i thought they would bring on the next test.

halfslip56 06-08-15 10:03

been away so i missed the 3rd test which england won convincingly aussies need to square the series or the ashes are gone trent bridge not our favourite ground but james anderson missing is a big out a few of our players need to get runs especially the captain.

halfslip56 06-08-15 21:30

no more updates here anymore after the aussies effort last night the ashes are gone
and so is the career of michael clarke all out for 60 utter rubbish congrats to england.
