Colours
 

Hi guys,

Can you, please, do something about the oversaturated colours. Her skin looks bright red on my screen (smartphone and monitor). Her nails are even brighter. Sure on my PC I can alleviate the problem somewhat by using a colour profile but this isn't possible on a phone. It's ridiculous.

Whilst i appreciate what you say, it's quite possible that some of the girls have spent time sunbathing over recent weeks with the result that they have acquired a lobster red complexion in the early stages. Whilst you can adjust the settings to a degree to counteract this, it will sometimes distort the picture as a whole if you over adjust.

I've written many times on these pages of the difficulty of working with bright red subject matter and it's difficult to eliminate the problem completely unless you've got a ridiculously expensive camera. As an amateur glamour photographer, my answer was to try and avoid the colour whenever possible. Having said that, you can only work with what you're presented with!

This is correct Peter. She had got herself a very dark fake tan and no matter what I did to the colour of the video she still looked this way. I even tired a matt look which made her stand out even more. I'm sorry about this but some times its unavoidable. But we see if there is a program that can help us when editing these sorts of video's.
