Mark McCammon has been awarded £68,000 for racial victimisation by Gillingham. While I think he was victimised, by not having his injury treatment paid for and by being fined for not turning up for training in heavy snow, I'm not sure how they would have been able to prove it was racial. He was on high wages and they probably wanted him off the wage bill. But that's not racial. I'm unsure how they would have proved this. Still, it was nice to see the court in Ashford on the news coverage and the interview with Mark McCammon held outside, in Ashford town centre!
