Default Close Premier League

Not only do I think Arsenal can win the league this season, but I think Liverpool could as well. I also think Everton have a chance of finishing in the top 4 and teams such as Southampton and Newcastle could challenge for the top 4. Unfortunately, the close nature of the league means Man Utd and Spurs aren't out of this contest either. Relegation-wise, I think anyone from about 10th down could be dragged into the relegation fight. I think Cardiff and West Brom will regret sacking their managers. But then look what Pulis has achieved at Palace. If only he'd stuck with the Gills....

I agree, it's the closest it's been for years. I think any of the top 8 are in with a shout but I think at the end of it, Chelsea and Man City have strength in depth and are most likely to lift the Premiership Trophy.

As for the Gills, a 2-2 draw yesterday at home against Walsall. We missed both goals though, we were back a minute late after the interval (you have to finish your half time beer of course!) so missed McDonald putting the Gills ahead but then left after they had gone ahead in the first minute of extra time feeling thoroughly dissapointed and dejected only to hear the cheers go up as we had just left the stadium, McDonald had equalised in the last minute of extra time!

Let that be a lesson to us..!!

I have done that before too John, In the rest room or getting a beer, Or leaving a few minutes early from a game we were apparently going to lose to beat the traffic, and hearing the cheers outside of the stadium. Only to hear on the cars radio the amazing last minute victory.

Default The other end of the premier league !

The top end looks decided for 2013 but they are all scrapping away down below!
Norwich were just sooo unlucky to loose at home to Manchester United from a defensive error that Wellbeck took advantage of !!
Have tickets for the FA Cup match against Fulham on Jan 4th so hope for a result!
