As I see it, admittedly from a biased perspective (Wigan are pretty much my 2nd team now. This has increased in recent seasons, probably as a direct result of my increasing irritation with Mr Arsene Wenger) Wigan and Aston Villa are both improving. QPR are also improving, but I firstly do not think they are as good a side and secondly do not think they will escape relegation. Also, I really don't like Harry Redknapp, so I would not mind at all if they went down.

Wigan and Aston Villa are now both on 30 pts. Swansea in 9th place are on 40pts and more or less safe. Fulham are 10th, one place, but also 4 points behind, Swansea. I think that Wigan and Aston Villa could conceivably catch anyone from 10th down, given a bad run of form. This season, more than recent seasons, has been a season of good runs for teams and bad runs (what is going on at Sunderland???). If one of these teams, from 10th down, goes on a bad run at this stage of the season, they're likely to go down. At the moment, the team on the bad run is Sunderland, but if a new manager comes in and creates some momentum, it could easily become one of those other teams.
