    Will Shakespeare's 400th.

I couldn't let the 400th anniv. of Will's death pass without some form of commemoration.

I'm reminded of a poem i've grown up with which was taken from a biography and is considered one of his best :--------

William shakespeare was a man of wit!
and on his shirt he had some-------BUTTONS!

One day, as he was walking by St. Paul's,
A woman grabbed him by the---------SHOULDER!

She said, " You look a man of pluck,
Come upstairs and have a -------CUP OF TEA! "

How much is your tea, sixpence or a bob?

It all depends on the size of your------TEA CUP!

Sadly, you just don't get writing of that quality today.

Another award winning adaptation of The Balcony Scene from Romeo and Juliette as performed in exemplary fashion by Frank Bruno and Sir Lenny Henry ( as he is now ) :------

" Parting is such sweet sorrow.

I wish we could get married quick so we could do some bonkin' tomorrow!! "

Shakespeare at his very best--hardly surprising his writing has lasted 400 years__!!
