I really appreciate your taking so much effort to discuss stories. Comments and feedback are rare here indeed! There is no question that one part stories do best here. Just go to the last page of the section, back when I was the only writer here, and see how much better the single entries did! The sequels always had less reads than the first part, even on 2 part entities.
Readership of all the stories has been down in general in the last few years though. The same is true at the chloroforum site. Video clips and teasers with still pictures get the big view numbers nowadays. Not surprising, how is our writing supposed to compete with pictures of bound and naked models?
If you work your way from page 8 or last page of this section towards the present, the number of views on the older stories is amazing. I know they have been there longer, but do people that are new to the site really go back more than a page or two to read stories? I have no data to tell for sure, but I would think not. The interest in stories just isn't what it used to be and that's that.
