Nice to see the old style blog back, even if it does prove to be just a temporary reprieve.

Obviously, the attraction is that it gives us previews of shoots coming up, which the new twitter/tumblr facility does not allow, not to mention the rationing factor.

I'm sure the old blog was much loved and you shouldn't equate lack of comment with lack of interest.

The deciding factor will almost certainly be whether you have the time to continue with it, and i'm sure everyone will support you which ever decision you take.

I need to figure out the comments ...some can comment, others not.

I may change from Wordpress to an alternative thats more user friendly.

Thanks for the second blog this week--you are spoiling us!!
Couldn't log in properly, [ possibly because i haven't used for a year ]. Re-set my password and tested it with a comment on one of Anita's recent pics. It took o.k. which is encouraging.
One thing i don't understand is when, on the main blog page, it shows the number of comments made on that section, it only ever refers to the summary comments and not comments passed on the individual pics. I noticed that last year as well so it's not a new phenomenon.

I've left several comments on this latest blog. I think that's our best chance of preserving it and reassuring John that his tireless efforts are appreciated.

It's unfortunate that you have to cursor down on each individual pic. to identify those that have comments. On some other forums i've used in the past, it tells you how many comments have been made for each pic. which prompts you to investigate further.

Sadly, we can do nothing about matters over which we have no control.
