Being from North America I find lingerie to be very pedantic and focuses mainly on boyshorts and thongs. But I've noticed that in a lot of Asian countries, they have very extravagant designs (very feminine), and most noticeably they have a style where instead of the elastic band that goes around the ass-cheeks being simply that, they are in fact often replaced with lace like this:

Quite often even the elastic running along the, umm, gusset I believe it's called is replaced with lace as well like so:
And in other cases it's removed entirely like so:
And still yet in other cases the elastic is still there but it's occluded by the lace.
Anyway, I haven't seen this type of design in any other part of the world. I wonder what influenced it... it's sure damned sexy that's all I know. They seem to be much more imaginative, detailed, and creative about their lingerie than anywhere else.
Anyone else notice this?
