I know hockey is not a major sport in the UK but i just wanted to mention the playoffs have begun in quest for Lord Stanleys Cup and my home town "Pittsburgh" is in the hunt! First the Steelers won in football and now we are rooting for our Penguins! Its very busy here in our sports!

Yes Kool its the NHL ice hockey playoffs. And yes we are playing our cross state rivals the Philadelphia Flyers in round one and its already become a bit rough! As of now its Pittsburgh 2 games to 0 in a best of 7 series.

Thanks Kool! But thats round one if we win the series its off to round 2 vs the next apponent. We lost in the finals last year 4 games to 2 for the cup but maybe this year will bring it on! Sundays game is big!

Round one for us could be over thursday night we are up 3 games to 1

Kool we lost game 5 Thursday and it went to a game 6 Saturday at the flyers arena and in front of their fans we were losing 3 to 0 but we came back and won 5 to 3! First round over for us now! Very intense! I will now have that drink! lol! The second round begins for us Wednesday i believe.

Yes Kool its quite a battle for the cup! If every series goes the full 7 games a team could play as many as 28 games to reach the championship!

We are down 2 games to 0 but the series comes home now for 2 we had better get busy and get it done!

Update: Series now 2 games to 1. Now we need to win to tie it up at 2!
