england 4/180 it was a struggle yesterday our bowlers toiled hard in the heat
could go either way this morning depends on if ian bell can get going

Shockingly abject display by England. Well done to the Aussies for quite literally battering England into submission.

Poor batting, poor bowling and poor fielding. England just haven't been at the races.

england 255 all out not enough it's a good batting wicket
kp played a crazy shot to get out probably thought
he was running out of partners.

after a bad start to the day england managed to be in charge
australia 9/164 still 91 behind a big day for england.

no need for scores today just to say england put in an absolute shocker today
if australia bat sensibly tomorrow they will be 4 nil up.

Shocker is the word. Seems like a mini collapse at the start of the innings and then a epic collapse at the end of it!!

hard to believe england were 100 in front with 10 wickets in the bank
at lunch time yesterday and australia win by 8 wickets in a breeze.
rogers and watson batted really well but england are playing like
they wish the tour was over.

I just caught a glimpse of the text at about 2am this morning and saw with Haddin & Smith in singe figures. The commentators were lauding the bowling performance but I juts shook my head. Haddin has the second highest run score in the series with a batting average of 65.0. The highest English batsmen is Pietersen on 35.63!!

well john england are finally out of there misery
set 448 to win england all out 166 inside 3 days
they lost 7 wickets in an hour after tea hard to believe
or is it. a lot of soul searching to be done in the england camp
the only shining light ben stokes with bat and ball very promising all rounder.

It's been a complete joke mate. I read an artical in a Sunday paper yesterday from a cricket correspondent stating England had become too insular, and I agree with the statement. When Cook was asked if the team welcomed opinion from previous successful test players, he said No. Whatever problems the team had, they would sort them out from within. crazy.... and when a team has an 82 page document detailing their dietry requirements (which included pumpkin sees, mungbean curry and goji berry breakfast bars!!) clearly something bad has gone wrong!
